Originally from small-town Iowa, Regina Raine moved to Oregon in 2017 to enjoy the state's natural beauty and to follow her passion for contemporary music performance and technology. She discovered a passion for jazz performance while pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Music Performance and Technology at Clackamas Community College. 

Regina Raine is a multi instrumentalist with skills on the ukulele and piano that support her lush contralto vocals. On trumpet, she has a warm sound and a melodic improvisational style within the jazz and contemporary genres. She is a Neo-soul songwriter inspired by Motown and lo-fi/jazz/hip-hop and is currently recording her first EP. Her peers and mentors have commented on her songs memorable lines and clever rhyming schemes. 

Regina graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor’s of the Arts in Music Performance and University Honors College. Regina Raine has shared the stage with a wide variety of musical talents including Vampire Weekend and Vanessa Rubin. She has collaborated as a trumpet player and vocalist for an indie rock band called The Act, as well as a funk group called Dipthong. She works as an audio engineer for Left Door Streaming and you can often find her running sound for The 1905, which has been recognized by Downbeat magazine as one of the top jazz clubs in the world.
